Kuala Lumpur Trip
Dear all,
This gonna be my first travelling diary.. Unfortunately this is not backpacking experience..
This is gonna be about my traveling to Kuala Lumpur for my work assignment as a company ambassador to attending Rossa Concert (One of famous Indonesian Singer)..
Friday, May 28, 2010
We went there by Malaysian Airlines at 19:00 and we reach Kuala Lumpur quite very late at night to checked in to Grand Millenium Hotel. We were so lucky because at that time, when we came the rooms already fully booked. Because we already paid the hotel before we arrive, they upgrading our rooms from 2 Deluxe Rooms become Imperial Suite Room. We were very excited about that eventhough we have to pay deposit box RM 700..
The room was really nice. Before we came, the room was for Palestine President, at least that was the servant said to me.. hehe..

That day we had scheduled for Kuala Lumpur city trip. So after breakfast at the hotel, we were so ready for the city trip..
First destination was photo stop at the street near KLCC Suria Twin Tower. I was quite dissapointed because my expectation was going to the KLL Suria Twin Tower it self and not going to the street near it.. hehe..
After took some pictures for a while then we went to Istana Negara. That was nice because we had opportunity to saw the horse rider changing in front of Istana Negara Gate.
The 3rd destination was Tugu National. We felt that Kuala Lumpur hotter than Surabaya and we were very thirsty because we also need to walk pretty far to get back to the car. One interesting thing we saw was the statue near Tugu National was really wierd. The people on that statue really not Malaysian. Then somebody told me that it was because the one who build that statue wasn’t Malaysian but American people, that’s way the appearance of the people on that statue really similar with American people.. hehe.. Nice fact!
The 4th destination was the National Mosque of Malaysia. Once we entered the mosque, we need to wear something polite to coverour body. They also provide the clothes and the scarf to cove r visitor’s body. The clothes have 2 different colours, dark purple for moslem and soft purple for non-moslem.
After visiting historical places of Malaysia, we went for shopping. We were visiting Leather Shop and not very interested with all the products there since Indonesia has better quality than what they offered in that shop. The next shop we’ve visited was Berryl’s Chocholate Shop. It was nice to saw and tasted many different kinds of chocholates, and we bought many chocholates for souvenir.
Tired after the half day of city trip, we went to Restaurant Minmax for lunch. This was Chinese Restaurant and they have great food for moslem also.
The important schedule for this day was attending Rosa Concert at Stadium Bukit Djalil, but before that we went to KLCC Suria Twin Towers for a while because some of us too curious to see the twin towers closer and willing to have small shopping inside that mall.
After quick preparation in our hotel, we went for dinner then went to Bukit Djalil for Rosa Concert. The concert was delayed 1 hour because of waiting the first lady of Malaysia to come. Over all the concert was nice, eventhough we were quite boring with the performance of the singer in some last songs.. Ups!! Maybe it was because the duration time of the performance was too long.
